News 23/05/2019 Ageba and Taira cruise to main draw at Boracay Open Boracay, Philippines, May 23, 2019 – Japanese duo Yuya Ageba and Nobuaki Taira defeated Ukrainian pair Sviatoslav Karvatsky and Anton Didyk 2-0 (21-13, 21-18) to secure one of the four available spots in the main draw of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Boracay Open on Thursday.Ageba and Taira earned a bye in the first round, but easily delivered a straight-set win to move to the main draw, joining three other Japanese pairs headed by top seeds Jumpei Ikeda and Katsuhiro Shiratori.“It was an easy win for us,” Ageba said. “We had a good side-out game and that helped us in this match.“Our goal is to win the tournament and we will do it step by step.
