Battambang, Cambodia next on FIVB World Tour

Lausanne, Switzerland, March 25, 2019 - Due to a date change for an event in Brazil, the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour will take a weekend off as the men completed the first third of their schedule this past week in Cambodia where a team from Austria garnered their first-ever gold medals on the international circuit.

With the planet's elite women's beach volleyball players not playing for a second straight week, the 15th of 45 men’s events on the 2018-2019 FIVB World Tour schedule was staged in Siem Reap, Cambodia, where the final four featured an all-European field with Austria’s Christoph Dressler and Alexander Huber recovering from a pool play setback on Friday to defeat Maxim Sivolap/Artem Yarzutkin of Russia in the three-set finale at the Anchor Beach Volleyball Carnival.
