Doha, Qatar, November 12, 2019 – Jedrzej Brozyniak and Piotr Janiak of Poland posted a pair of qualifying wins here Tuesday to advance with three other teams to the main draw at the Aspire Beach Volleyball Cup Doha.

Seeded fifth in the 12-team qualifier, Brozyniak and Janiak posted qualifying wins over pairs from Australia and Poland to gain a spot in an FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour main draw for the second time this season after repeating the achievement from a month earlier in Bandar Torkaman, Iran.

Brozyniak and Janiak joined two tandems from Japan and a Dutch pair in gaining a spot in Wednesday's 16-team pool play rounds where 12 duos will advance to Thursday's elimination rounds to set the field for Friday's semifinal and medal matches at the Al Gharrafa Beach Complex.

Japanese qualifiers on Tuesday were top-seeded Masato Kurasaka/Kensuke Shoji and third-seeded Keisuke Shimizu/Hideki Yoshida. Second-seeded Tom van Steenis/Sven Vismans advanced for the Netherlands to Wednesday's pool play schedule.

The $5,000 Aspire Beach Volleyball Cup Doha is the third men's event on the 2019-2020 FIVB World Tour calendar with No. 4 starting on Wednesday in Mexico at the Chetumal Open on the Yucatan Peninsula.
