News 07/03/2019 Pinarella di Cervia joins FIVB calendar Pinarella di Cervia, Italy, March 7, 2019 - The second of three FIVB Beach Volleyball World tour events in Italy on the 2018-2019 calendar is set for July 25-28 in Pinarella di Cervia for a men's-only tournament.A seaside resort in northeastern Italy on the Adriatic Sea, Pinarella di Cervia joins Alba Adriatica (July 12-14, women’s only) and Rome (September 4-8, World Tour Finals for men and women) on the 2018-2019 FIVB World Tour schedule.Prior to the 2018-2019 season, the last FIVB World Tour event staged in Italy was in July 2013 in Rome. Overall, Italy has hosted 25 men's and 20 women's tournaments highlighted by the 2011 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in Rome.
